I was trying pretty hard today to get “the shot” of my kids. I have a wall waiting ever so patiently to hold their beautiful faces. Unfortunately, I didn’t get it… Fortunately, I got other pictures that I totally am head over heals for.
Helpful hint for the day…don’t get discouraged when a shoot doesn’t turn out exactly as you planned. You might just miss out on ones that are truly gems. The ones that tell the stories. The ones that show who they truly are.

Your children are GORGEOUS! These photos made me smile because these are the exact same ones I love to take of my kids every time we have an addition to the family. Mom and Dad’s bed makes the most awesome photo shoot backdrop! LOVE IT! It’s funny you mentioned to not get frustrated when the shots you want don’t happen. beautiful shots! i love the expressions on their faces… i can get so frustrated at times but when i look back, these kinds of pictures are the ones that i love most.

These are so beautiful- so clean and crisp. I especially love the one with one of the girls’ feet peeking out from under the pillow. I guess she was declaring the photo shoot finished! LOL

Oh!! You are so lucky. They turned out AMAZING! I tried with my 3 1/2 year old and newborn and I just can’t seem to get any good ones.
