Ya know, I have this crazy habit of rhyming words when I talk. One of those that comes out quite frequently is “awesome blossom.” I get made fun of pretty often for my quirky choice of wording. But that’s just me I guess.
So in the spirit of embracing…me…I will share my AWESOME BLOSSOM news….
A couple of posts back I told ya about I♥faces and I entered THIS PHOTO HERE . Well on Saturday they had the results and out of over 400 entries I won Angie’s vote. YEE HAW!!! Angie is one of the owners and creators of I♥faces and it was such an honor to be her chosen image! I love that she totally got the feeling of the image. That this beautiful girl lovingly embraces and is confident with who she is. Melissa loves life and her spunky, excited, joyful spirit is so infectious to be around. SO thanks Angie!!
Also…..look who I saw yesterday!!! Jayda was life flighted up to Salt Lake City’s Primary Children’s Hospital on Friday and Justin and I were able to visit her on Sunday. I cannot believe how big she is getting. She now weighs almost three and a half pounds! She is totally filling in her skin. While I am so happy that she is getting to be a chubsters, I am sad we are loosing our own little Benjamin Button, as we lovingly call her. She just looks like a miniature version of a healthy beautiful baby girl. She was wide eyed and moving all around. It was amazing to see the difference in this baby from when I was there last. If you are just joining us today…check this out HERE, you will see just how far this little babe has come.
Look at that smile.

It’s amazing the difference between the last time we were there and yesterday. A little over a month ago she had to constantly be wrapped up, she barely moved and her eyes had just barely opened. Only her mom and dad could touch her. This time she loved being unwrapped, she was flailing all around, smiling and showing us her beautiful wide eyes. And she even got to hold my hand (bottom left picture)

It truly is amazing what modern medicine, a strong willed baby and lots of prayers can do. She is going into surgery TODAY for her blocked intestines…so think HAPPY SUCCESSFUL surgery thoughts.
We just got back from a family reunion so lots of fun pictures to come….
Thanks for looking!
