this is us.

Welcome to what I like to call my second home. It's where I like to be when my kids give me a few seconds to share what I love most- them.

I started my photography journey a little over two years ago just wanting to take better pictures of my kids. I fell in love and quickly jumped into my own business. I took pictures of a lot of other peoples kids, but was often too tired to capture the memories of my own. I have come full circle and am back to shooting the ones I love.

Right now my main focus is perfecting my art. While I have decided not to be in business at this time, I would love for this to be a place of inspiration and beauty. Somewhere I can share myself in my work. As photographer Nan Goldin once said, "This is a diary I let people read." I have many different projects in mind and can't wait to see them come to life.

I am an artist who loves to share the beauty of a smile, a connection and a laugh. I have a story to tell and a journey I would love to share with you.

Awwww Mr. – be ART

This little guy is the sweetest ten month old. ever. true story! He smiled and played and was in the best mood ALL DAY! His mom is my dear friend and sister to the beautiful bride below. He hung in there while we did engagements, and then shopped, lunch at Red Robin (not hard to endure.mmmm) then bridals and then finally it was his turn. Yep. He was still happy. Love him! Love his smile, love his big brown eyes…love it all! Thanks Laird for being quite the trooper..all day!

you see a couple and can *just tell* they are so in love? No pretending, no trying too hard to impress, no insecurities or feeling foolish. Just plain old in love with who they truly are. This is them. Remember meeting the gorgeous bride from my post below? Let me introduce her truly wonderful fiance Reggie. They are in love and anyone can see it. The way they looked at each other. The way they could play around and yet be serious and meaningful at the same time. Yah, it was awesome photographing these two. So much fun! They were willing to be silly and then turn it around and just be in love. *swoon* Just a few….

Beautiful Bride – Utah Photographer

I was able to go down to St. George, Utah and photograph this beautiful girls bridals. (we also did her engagements…those will be up soon) She is so beautiful, kind and just really down to earth. She was a blast to photograph and was up for anything. She even let me try my lighting on some. THAT was really fun. It was such a beautiful cloudy day. It was nice and warm. It was perfect. He ya’ll! (I am laughing because I just realized I wrote ya’ll.
